Digital PET/CT

PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/CT) is the most important and essential method for diagnosing oncological diseases, starting from primary cancer detection, assessment of prevalence to evaluation of the treatment efficacy and monitoring. With the help of PET/CT, it is possible to detect such tumours that are not visible on either CT or MRI scans.

Digital PET/CT, unlike the previous generation of analogue devices, has even higher sensitivity and accuracy thanks to its innovative digital receivers. The device is also equipped with image processing software based on artificial intelligence (AI), which makes it possible to:

• Obtain even higher-quality images while reducing the amount of radioactive material needed to be injected into the patient

• Detect much smaller tumour lesions (up to 3 mm).
