These minor interventions provide an opportunity to avoid major abdominal surgeries.<\/p>\n<p>Indications for surgical endoscopy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removal of stomach and colon polyps<\/li>\n<li>Stopping bleeding in cases of gastric and duodenal ulcer diseases, esophageal varicose veins<\/li>\n<li>Endoscopic sclerosis in the case of esophageal varicose veins<\/li>\n<li>Removal of gastrointestinal submucosal masses<\/li>\n<li>Endoscopic papilla sphincterotomy<\/li>\n<li>Esophageal stenting<\/li>\n<li>Removal of foreign bodies from the esophagus, stomach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Endoscopy is almost painless but if necessary, it can be anesthetized (IV anesthesia).
